Love boots, but because of my fybromyalgia have a problem with softness. Was in need of replacing my supportive, slip-on tennis shoes. WOW – Ariat Ridge Crest Slip-on loafer met both needs. Love the feel of a boot, and after several years of not wearing boots, putting these on, well lets say I was flying on a cloud. But, the best was when I took those first steps and found I had the support with softness I need as in a good sneaker. I would rate these a 10 if I could. Thank you Ariat for meeting my medical needs, plus the look of a beautiful shoe. When I first puts these on, was a bit roomy in the right heel, and feared I’d made a mistake with this purchase. Decided to go ahead and wear them to work, and realize when I got home that evening, that except for the first few minutes, I’ve not noticed the ‘roomy heel’ since. If you want a great looking shoe, with comfort and support, please try this shoe.

…so why’d why they try to fix it??If you are familiar with the old Mush Tevas, and you are used to their sizing, be aware that the 2011 Mushes are considerably narrower and smaller.This has been confirmed in numerous Amazon and in-person reviews of the Mush style, in addition to observing the differences by looking at the photos posted in these listings, as well as in my own in-hand/on-foot experience.The old Mush sandals were wider and had a more “squared” footbed. The new Mushes are narrower, with a more contoured footbed. Look at and compare the photos of the undersides of these shoes for comparison: the Mush Print, the Mush Adapto, and the Mush II, versus last year’s Mush – besides the difference in the sole, you can tell it’s the old model because most of the colors are sold out If you own Mushes already, heed this caution: I purchased this year’s Mush and was dismayed to find that my usual size does not fit and I believe a larger size will not remedy this, as there is much more toe real estate than before and a larger size will probably increase this, leaving a lot of empty space at the top of the shoe, which looks bad.If you are new to Mush, know that for me, they have historically been an extremely comfortable and durable shoe (I own over a dozen pairs). Try them out, if you have very narrow feet, this new model might allow you to enjoy my previous “fix”.UPDATE July 2011: After getting a tip from another reviewer, I called Teva about the new Mush style and was told that “a lot of people” had the same complaint and Spring 2012 will see the arrival of the “Original Mush”. As far as flip-flops go, these are pretty darn good! They are cute, comfortable, and I like the arch support. If you’ve never bought Teva’s before, I think you’ll love these. However, this is not my first Teva purchase and I know they can do better. I have a pair of Teva Mush flips that are about 3 yrs old, and it seems that the “mush” was more “mushy” (in a good way) back then and the straps were thicker and softer. These newer ones seem to be a bit lacking in the Teva quality I’m used to. I bought these new ones to replace the older pair, but I keep going back to the old ones!

Timberland Women’s Rudston Pull-On Boot (Apparel)

This is a great looking and comfortable boot. I was concerned when I read reviews on other sites about this boot being too narrow and people having trouble getting their foot in the shoe. When my boots arrived, I removed all the paper from the boot and could barely squeeze my foot in but thought I would make due with a little discomfort. I later discovered that along with the paper I had previously removed, the boots were shipped with a cardbord shaper that fit so snug in the boot I couldn’t tell it was there. After I removed the cardboard insert the boot fit perfect and I find the boots very roomy.

I just received these today, the leather is beautiful and they are very stylish and comfortable so far. I would say one draw back is that there isn’t a lot of room in the calf area for pants to slide under and I have very tiny calves. I also have very tiny ankles so there is an unusual about of space around he ankles however it evens out the look of the leg with pants so I like that. Overall a well made and stylish boot.

I had never really tried Timberland in the past, thinking that they were just too “outdoorsy” but their latest boot offerings are stylish and functional. I ordered the dark brown color of these boots and the leather is nice, and the color is beautiful…so rich and deep. I had to send them back, however, as I have really thin ankles and these are not as fitted at the ankle area as I would like so it throws off the proportion of my leg. They fit TTS and seemed comfortable.
