These are my first knee high boots, I am NOT disappointed. Love the look and feel of these. I have been searching for a pair that I can wear in our super rural community without looking over the top. These are perfect, I love them – they are simple yet pretty and can go casually dressed up or with jeans and a baggy sweater. My biggest concern was the glossy finish on the leather and the quality of the leather. The finish is much less glossy than in the photo giving them a nice “earthy” look without being too back to nature. The leather is pretty, soft yet not to delicate. I will be able to use leather conditioner on them when those inevitable scuffs appear. The only thing I would improve on is the sole being a little more grippy, but that’s what I have snow boots and chore boots for. If you are looking for something to walk on icy sidewalks in these are not going to help you out. They are comfortable and pull on easily over jeans too. I am 5″9″ and average to lanky build they fit my calves just right, comfortable on my feet, and about 2″ below my knees. I got them off the Jessica Simpson website for $125, fyi.
